Conditions we treat
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Communication, social and sensory support built around how your child learns.
Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder
Autism is a neurodevelopmental difference affecting social communication, flexibility of thinking and sensory processing. It is not caused by parenting, vaccines or screen time, and it is not something a child grows out of — but with the right support autistic children learn, communicate and thrive.
Seyon offers a coordinated autism programme combining speech therapy, occupational therapy, behaviour support and special education around a single set of family-chosen goals.
Signs to look for
- Limited response to name by 12 months
- Little pointing, showing or shared enjoyment
- Delayed speech, or loss of words after 15–24 months
- Repetitive movements such as hand flapping or spinning
- Intense distress when routines change
- Strong sensory likes and dislikes
Our approach
How Seyon supports children with autism spectrum disorder
- Developmental and autism-specific screening (M-CHAT-R, ISAA/CARS-2 informed)
- Communication first — speech therapy, and AAC where speech is not yet functional
- Sensory integration therapy to support regulation
- Positive behaviour support instead of punishment-based methods
- Structured, visual special education
- Intensive parent training and school collaboration
